This was always one of my favorite conferences...so glad you went AND presented. I liked the conference because it was small and had a great mix of library leaders. One of my memories of CIL was sitting in the hotel lobby and have a conversation with the librarian from Estee Lauder. Who knew?

I enjoyed looking at your presentation (wish I could have heard it, too...!) and your photos are just beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

Wish I had seen all the comments. You could almost see her mind slam shut. Wouldn't be surprised if her "sheltered" children (a)aren't as sheltered as she thinks; and (b)go totally off the rails once they get out from under what must be a large and heavy thumb. Yet they are allowed to attend concerts...with all kinds of free-thinking "riff raff," I'm sure. Go figure.

Yeah, its too bad we didn't capture their tweets before we were "banned" from communicating with them. I wasn't the one that brought up Huck Finn. Mothers4Beiber did. She said somethign to the effect of Scary Stories not being as great of a book as Huck Finn. When I pointed out the Racism, Thievery, Truancy, Lying, Smoking, etc... In Huck Finn, she suddenly didn't want to talk anymore. LOL
